Theodore Kurita and the Revenant ON1-K Orion

Teddy Kurita ca. 3025 Teddy Kurita is perhaps the most beloved Kurita character of all the clan era writings, getting a whole novel dedicated to him and his rise to lead the Draconis Combine.  He is featured in the Legends sourcebook as well, with a depiction of his Orion class Battlemech “ Revenant ”.  Gifted to Theodore in 3018 after Combine salvage crews discovered it stashed in the New Samarkand system, it held a long heritage to be envied. Originally piloted by Alexander Kerensky himself the newly christened Revenent soon found itself following Theodore Kurita around the Combine boarder systems after Teddy fell out with his father and was cast to the Legions of Vega in punishment.  The Legions of Vega , at that time, were the dumping ground of the Combines refuse mechwarriors; men and women who did not live up the ideals of honor and discipline endemic in the DCMS.  Rather this group of motley warriors lacked proper supply and maintenance, and suffered signal...

The Chahar Profit - Starlord Class Jumpship

The story of the Chahar Profit is one of those deep lore incidents which make for an interesting historical footnote in the succession war years of the BT universe.  Its a stand-out example of inter-war shenanigans and how small skirmishes are the bedrock of the BT game system - despite recent story telling focusing on every large and more cataclysmic battles’. Following the 1st Succession War , House Steiner mandated that Jumpships which had been seized for war logistics could resume their civilian trade so long as they made 3 mercy runs to Lyran worlds in need of aid.  While the Chahar Trading Company initially hesitated at such measures they soon saw the error of their ways after some very heavy handed convincing by the Archon.  It was on one such run that the Chahar Profit made a misjump ending up in the House Kurita system of Darius .  As one can imagine the Dragon was not in a mood to give back a jumpship full of supplies.
